Introducing the Real Time Bus Information.

PSTA invites you to experience Real Time Bus Information. The system works with GPS technology and allows PSTA to pinpoint each vehicles exact location at all times. This means we can provide reliable, real-time departure information to passengers.

Real Time Bus Information on Mobile Phone

PSTA was the FIRST in the country to partner with Transportation Networking Companies (TNCs) such as Uber and Taxi companies to provide innovation transportation options. We are using these existing partnerships to offer our community’s essential workers another option when PSTA’s reduced bus service does not work for their schedule.

ELIGIBILITY – You may be eligible if:

  • You are an essential employee (with employer verification)
  • You ride or used to ride the bus to get to work
  • You are now late getting to work, or you are no longer able to get to work because of reduced bus service

HOW TO APPLY (for employees):

Please provide the following:

  1. Letter from your employer with your shift times, and how the recent service reductions have effected your work commute
  2. A completed TD Program Application

PSTA staff will contact you within 1-2 business days and discuss different options for you to get to/from work, and will determine your eligibility.

Essential employees who qualify for the program will be set up with the provider of their choice – either United Taxi, Uber, or Care Ride.

Service hours will be tailored to employee’s commute.

Program fee can be paid by EMPLOYEE OR BUSINESS over the phone by credit card to PSTA.

MAY: $20

JUNE: $20 per month, if PSTA bus service is still reduced

Employees, who are TD eligible, will pay only $9 per month for the service.

Please Note:

  • Riders in the program will receive up to 25 trips to or from work per calendar month.
  • The PSTA Essential Workers Program will be suspended once PSTA is able to resume regularly scheduled bus service.
